The house is a 17th century building recovered preserving all the original elements: stone walls, external doors, external balconies and internal wooden structures, original stone roof. The house comprises on the ground floor kitchen and dining room, a double bedroom and a bathroom; on the first floor living room, a second double bedroom and a second bathroom and on the attic floor a large mezzanine with four beds. The two bathrooms have floors and walls in Crevola marble slabs. Heating is provided by a large soapstone stove, a pellet stove and electric radiators in the bathrooms and bedrooms (which are entirely insulated and lined with slatted larch wood). It is located in the hamlet of Durogna, a small ancient nucleus that has fully retained its original features, located about 700 meters higher and more panoramic than the town of Varzo, and reachable by car through an asphalted road of about 1 kilometer and on foot with a journey of less than 10 minutes along the historic mule track.
